Clara Nibourg, Secretary

I am proud to be one of the new board members for the Stettler Hospice Society. I became interested in volunteering with hospice after both of my parents passed away in just 2 years. It made me understand what in important part of life, dying is. I realized throughout the process that as a society we need to take extra care with our dying folks to ensure that their wishes be respected and that their families needs be met. My husband Tony and I farm north of Halkirk. We work together with our daughter Jenna and her husband Brett on our 5 th generation family farm. Our son Luke is a pilot for fly-in fishing in Ontario and spends his time between there, the farm and Victoria. I enjoy hosting family and friends at the farm. I also enjoy curling, horse riding, working with cattle, and yoga. Tony and I travel some and love to hike where ever we are. In the past I have volunteered with 4-H, school and community activities and boards. I am excited for the opportunity to learn and grow as a hands-on volunteer, as well as a board member for the Stettler Hospice Society.
