Dr. Maureen Drummond, like her husband, was born, grew up and was educated in Scotland, moving with her husband and family firstly to Provost, Alberta, then to Stettler in 1990. She broadened her knowledge by obtaining education in business administration and accounting while the children attended school. She has over the years held positions on the boards of the Curling Club, Figure Skating Club, Stettler Golf Club and the Festival of Lights Committee. Presently she works as a Clinical Director of Research for a pharmaceutical company.
